Linda Peterson

Linda Peterson, age 78, passed away in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on January 8, 2024. She was born March 5, 1945 to Donald and Hope (Kilts) Carlson in Council Bluffs, IA. She was a 1963 graduate of Tri-Center High School. Linda and Larry united in marriage in 1964 and had 3 daughters.

She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents and stepfather, Morris Bates, she was preceded in death by spouse, Larry "Peeley" Peterson; daughter, Debra; brother, Joel Carlson; sister-in-law, Karen Carlson; and brother-in-law, Jerry Green.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Teresa Peterson and Michelle Peterson; grandchildren, Amber Peterson, Trenton (Marissa) Peterson, Levisit Scott II, and Tori Peterson; great granddaughter, Mia Peterson; sister, Cynthia Green; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 16996 State Orchard Road, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51503. Inurnment at a later date at Logan Cemetery in Logan, Iowa.
