Lyle Nilson, age 94, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 25, 2024. He was born April 8, 1930 to Victor and Lola (Bogseth) Nilson in Aurora, NE.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, V. Robert, Erick, and Mark.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Mary Nilson; children, Kathryn (Phillip) Kayser, Kristine (Paul) Reinholz, Deborah (Daniel) Northfield, and Lowell (Lisa) Nilson; 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Good Shepherd Funeral Home's 90th Street Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Grace Central Church, 344 N 115th St, Omaha, NE 68154. Burial at Westlawn Hillcrest Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Grace Central Church Mission Fund, Open Door Mission, and Immanuel Village Scholarship Fund.
