Marcel Joseph Vinduska

Marcel Vinduska, age 94, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, on April 22, 2021. He was born July 13, 1926 to John and Emma (Steiner) Vinduska in Pilsen, KS.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Lester (Myrtle) and Henry (Sophia); sisters Albina (Harvey), Adeline (Frank), and Alice (Ed).

Marcel is survived by his wife of 71 years, Jean Vinduska; sons Jarel, Gary (Joanne) and John (Sherri); daughters Marjean (Roger) Beard and Laurie (Steve) Galeski, son-in-law Bob Beard; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Good Shepherd Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. A Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Gretna on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Interment will be held at Omaha National Cemetery Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Nebraska Land Trust and Pencils of Promise.
