Margaret Leask

Margaret J. Leask passed away November 21, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 96 years. She was born December 13, 1926 in George, Iowa. She moved to Michigan where she raised her 5 children.

As a humble devoted woman of faith in God and her lord Jesus. She served others through the church and nannied for many families over the years. She was always generous, serving others with love for anyone in need. Her greatest desire was for her children to do the right thing.

In her later days, her prayer to never be alone was answered. She loved and was loved, pain free, and at peace in her passing knowing she was going home.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Mammenga; brothers William, John, Orval, and twin brothers Louis and Levi; sisters Claire, Luella, and Frances; son Marvin Leask; and grandson John Leask.

She is survived by her children Rodger (Sue) Leask, Ron Leask, Doug Leask, and Mary Leask; grandchildren Loree, Brian, Shane, Amy, Jennifer, Spencer, Craig, and Erin; many great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; sisters Helen Biersted and Minnie Mae O'Connor; and nieces, nephews, and other family.

Please join us for a Memorial Service held December 13th, 2023 at 6 pm with a birthday celebration in her honor to follow at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
