Mary Ellen Blair

Mary was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 9th, 1971 to Perry and Grace Hotchkiss. She was the youngest of five children and the only girl. Mary was a bright light that lit up any room. Always quick with a smile and helping hand, Mary spread warmth, friendship and laughter wherever she went. She was never afraid to just be who she was, and she taught us it was okay for us to just be ourselves too. She was a passionate educator, avid reader, lover of music, and dear, sweet friend. She was fiercely protective of those she loved and would always go out of her way to lend a hand. She loved fully and without question. She was a light extinguished far too soon.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Grace. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her brothers Paul, Dan (wife Indy), David, and Perry; her mother in-law Cindy (husband Lorin); father in-law Tom (wife Kim); brother in-laws Jeff and Steve; and her loving nieces and great-nieces; nephews and great-nephews, and her many cousins all of whom love and miss her very much.
