Matthew Gene Porter

Matthew Porter, age 32, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, on April 20, 2021. He was born December 28, 1988 to Richard and Laurie (Siebrandt) Porter in Phoenix, AZ. Matthew lived in Eagle River, Alaska until the age of 7. He moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1996. He graduated from Westside High School in 2007. Matthew Attended Metropolitan Community College for 1 year, later attending Western Iowa Tech Community College and graduated with an Associates in Graphic Design. Matthew went on to get his Bachelors Degree in Cyber Security from Bellevue University. Matthew enjoyed singing and performing Karaoke as well as spending time with his friends. Most importantly spending time with his pride and joy which were his girls.

Matthew is survived by his parents Richard Porter of Eagle River, Alaska and Laurie Porter of Omaha, NE; daughters Emelia Porter and Maisie Porter as well as their mother Haile Currie; sisters Denay Camacho and Christi Porter; fianc Sesly Guardiola; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM, also at the funeral home.
