Michael Joseph Mchale

Mike lost his long battle with cancer on September 26, 2022 at the age of 68 years at his home, surrounded by loved ones.

Michael J. McHale was born November 30, 1953, to Robert E. and Billie Pat McHale in Dragerton, Utah.

Mike is survived by his wife, Colene; sister Mary Pat Brower (Randy); step-daughter Savannah Whittaker; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Billie Pat; step son Brandon; and grandson Cody.

Michael worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 38 years as a signalman and dispatcher in Omaha. He was a graduate of Idaho State University with two degrees in electronic design. MIchael loved life, family, extended family and his friends, fast cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and riding with his brothers and sisters. Michael was a martial artist for 45 years and enjoyed going to the shooting range.

Mike's approach to life was to dive in head first and never give up, even in the end. Cancer may have taken his health, but not his wicked sense of humor or his smile.

A Celebration of Life will be announced later.

Memorials may be directed by the family to various charities and organizations that Michael supported.
