Michael Lee Nimrod was born August 14th, 1959 through the union of Beatrice Hannett and Michael Lee Nimrod in Kansas City, Missouri. Michael is preceded in death by his mother Beatrice and survived by his father Michael, two sisters Sheila Nimrod and Goldy Gibbs, who all loved him dearly.
Michael graduated from Central High School and proceeded to college while in the Marine Corps where he graduated with an associates degree. On February 3rd, 1979 he married Mary B. White and through this union he lives through Machia (Robert Baytops) Nimrod and Michael Nimrod III.
On May 27th, 1977 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a 0311 Rifleman in Kansas City, Missouri. During his time of service he accomplished and was rewarded an abundance of medals and ribbons. This included but was not limited to: A Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Meritorious Mast, Certificate of Achievement, (2) Good Conduct Medals, (11) Letters of Appreciation, a Sharpshooter Rifle Badge, and a Sharpshooter Pistol Badge. Michael completed tour of duty on October 21st, 1982 and soon after began his journey to become a Certified Nursing Assistant/Med Aid by working with and helping many families in need, all while keeping his trust, love, and faith in the Lord. He had a love for cooking, bowling, playing pool, and sports. He was also a Kansas City Chiefs fanatic.
Michael then married Clarissa White and through this union he lives through Anita (Clinton) Westbrook, Belinda (LaRon) Tolbert, Darlene White, Michael (Samantha) White IV, Michael (Chaericia) White V, and Mizzanna (Jonathon) White. Michael received much love and respect from his nephews Jamar, Jalondre, Johnathon, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
Michael gave his life to the Lord at an early age and was able to experience lifes lessons and blessings, while gaining knowledge, wisdom and courage throughout these journeys. Michael was an active and dedicated member at Cathedral of Love, where he remained a loyal servant until our Lord called him home on November 14th, 2020 at the age of 61.
