Michael was born in Omaha, Ne to Juanita Smart and Charles Moore. Michael attended Tech High School and went on to join the Marines. Michael worked as a machine operator and got his certification in forklift operating. He loved sports and was an awesome baseball player, ran track, and played basketball. Michael was a big sports fan. He especially enjoyed watching WWE, movies, and listening to music. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. His family meant everything to him. Michael was a man who loved life and lived each day to the fullest no matter what. He had a gift of bringing laughter to just about everyone no matter the situation. He literally would have you rolling on the floor laughing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juanita Smart and Charles Moore; his brothers; Richard and Dennis Walker, his sisters; Judy Saxton and Linda Peak; nephews, Obdoo Walker and Korvanta Hill; and niece, Gloria Walker. He is survived by his brother, Dr. Jefferey L. Walker; girlfriend of 16 years, Ernestine Mapp; his daughters, Renee (Jamal) Petties, and Angel Brown; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other family and friends, and his beautiful wife Bridgette Smart.
