Nancy Jewell Warren

Nancy Jewell Warren passed away on June 7, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 74. She was born on March 24, 1950, in Red Oak, IA. Jewell was a fiercely independent individual who dedicated her life to her family and career.

Jewell graduated from Nishna Valley High School in Hastings, IA in 1968, then attended business school in Lincoln, NE. She was a legal secretary for Lustgarten and Roberts until her retirement in 2020. She excelled in her profession and was highly respected by her colleagues and clients.

During her spare time, Jewell enjoyed reading, needlepoint, and going on trips with her Legal Secretaries group. In later years, she found relaxation in diamond paintings, a hobby she cherished.

She is survived by her daughters Trina Sabatka and husband Jason, of Treynor, IA; Sara Solma and husband Brian; Jennifer Meyer and husband Sean, of Omaha; grandsons Simon and Embry; granddaughter RubyJune; sister Janet Snyder and husband Len of Lakewood, CO; and special cousin Jane Repp and husband Carl of Newton, IA. Jewell was preceded in death by her parents Volney and Evelyn Warren (Stream) and sister Charlotte Anne Neumeister Miller.

A service to honor Jewell's life will be held on June 21, 2024, at Good Shepherd on North 90th Street in Omaha.
