Nate was born in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday February 10th, 1961. He was raised in Detroit, Michigan where much of his family is from. He would however set his roots down in Omaha and make this place his home. He graduated from Finny High School. He learned various trades during his adulthood and was dedicated to hard work. He was passionate about fishing, that was his life! He was the greatest fisherman that many of us has ever known! He also enjoyed bowling, playing dominoes, playing bingo and keeping his cars looking sharp just like him. But most importantly he LOVED his family the most!
Nate was preceded in death by his Father Robert Ross Sr, Mother Verdia Ross, his brother Donnie Ross and his sister Casmin Fefe Williams. He is survived by his wife Shirley Ross, sons Deshone Lee, Damien (Rachael) Wilson, Cory Thornton, Curtis Thornton and his daughter Ni'Cole (Binyamin) Draper and 36 grandchildren to carry on his legacy. His brothers Robert (Debra) Ross, Paul (Lisa) Ross, Michael (Sandra) Ross, Paul William; Bennie Booker, Vernon (Sonia) Turner and sisters Denise Ford, Tricia Ross (Steve) and Tracy Brown.
