Nicholas J Elsasser

Nicholas John Elsasser, 24, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at his residence.

Nick was born February 3, 1996 in Omaha. He graduated from Ralston High School in 2014. He was working as an automotive technician, which he loved.

When he was young, Nick loved being with his older siblings and was frequently chasing after them on his bike at home or while camping . After getting his first vehicle, Nick would never leave the garage. He loved his cars and working on them alongside friends and family. His father was his best friend and he loved helping Dad work outside, in the warehouse, or fixing things in the house - anything that they could do together and get their hands dirty. His mother was his motivator who he loved so much, and always wanted to make her proud.

Survivors include grandparents, Sheila (Larry) Putnam and Craig (Toni) Michalski; parents, Douglas and Teri Elsasser; sister Katherine (Justin) Lovely, brother Jacob Elsasser, and nieces Valencia, Joslynn, and Everette, as well as many loving Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.

Nick is preceded in death by grandparents Duane Elsasser, Marian Malik, Kenyon Elsasser and Donna Elsasser, and his beautiful son Hunter Douglas Elsasser. Nick loved his son more than anything in the world and will be laid to rest alongside him at Papillion Cemetery.
