Nicholas Philip Meinhardt. December 1, 1946 – November 11, 2023, born in Carroll IA. He
attended Sts. Peter and Paul School in Carroll, Seminary in Carthage, MO. and Creighton
University in Omaha, NE.
Nick worked in Florida before moving to South Dakota to work with the Native American
community. He then moved back to Omaha, where he worked for Nova Treatment Community,
where he retired in 2021.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph P. Meinhardt and A. Gertrude (Pierick)
Meinhardt. Siblings, Larry, Marie, Agnes, and twins, Joe and John (all who died in infancy), and
his brother-in-law, Arthur Kirsch.
He is survived by his wife Marife Porcioncula Meinhardt. Stepchildren, Jovian Wyzen Bolivar
Omaha. Czarina Mirtle Bolivar, UK. Psyche Jazmine Bolivar, PHIL. Ma. Bernadette Hyacinth
Bolivar, TX. Granddaughter Naiyah Alora Bolivar, PHIL. Sister, Lucy (Arthur) Kirsch, IA. Nieces
and nephews, Ramona Kirsch, IA. Daryl Kirsch of NE, Annette (Tim) Goeser of IA., and Joe
(Sarah) Kirsch of TN. He is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at 2:00 pm, at the Omaha Christian Center, 4215 N 92 Ave. Omaha, NE 68134
