Norma Catherine Hall

Norma Catherine Hall was born on September 27, 1926, in Pender, NE to Gustave and Adele Schroeder Siemer. Norma lived in the Pender community and graduated from Pender High School in 1944. She then moved to Omaha where she worked for Employers Casualty, and General Electric Supply Corporation. On Jun 26, 1949, Norma married Dwight Hall in Pender, NE. The couple moved to Laramie, WY for three years, then to North Platte in 1954. Norma spent 24 years working with the NE Department of Roads, retiring in 1990. Norma moved to Omaha in 2013 in order to be closer to her family. She passed away in her home on Monday, March 13, 2023. She was 96 years old. Her greatest pride in life was her family and the joy of having them all around. Norma loved a good joke, reading, traveling, sharing a beer, playing cards and gardening.

Norma was a member of AARP, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Eagles Auxiliary while she lived in North Platte. Memorials may be directed to the North Platte Senior Center and condolences can be made at gsfuneral.com.

Survivors include a son, Dwight J. Hall Jr; sister Valdene Drumm (both of Omaha), three granddaughters Jacque (Adam) Miller of Lincoln, Frances (Jason) Noble of Omaha, and Kelly Morris of Omaha; six great-grandchildren, Murphy, Jack and Lochlann of Omaha; Erin Ziegler (fiancé Aaron Kelley) of North Platte; and Adam Q. Miller IV and Kayden Miller of Lincoln; and two great-great grandchildren Cooper and Lainey Kelley. Preceding her in death were her husband on July 4, 1989 and her daughter, Teresa on July 21, 1989, as well as her parents, sisters Ember Arnold and Marlene Schuster; and brother Herbert Siemer.
