Norman E. Lescarbeau, born on November 14,1955 in Hartford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully following a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy on September 13, 2022. He spent his final days at home in Omaha, Nebraska with family by his side. He will be dearly missed.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Henry O. Lescarbeau and Claire Paradis Lescarbeau and brothers George and Eddie Lescarbeau.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janine M. Lescarbeau and their four children and their families: Matthew Lescarbeau and his daughter Kailah Shestko in Tucson, Arizona; Amanda Giglio, her husband Jon, son Sawyer and daughter Nora in Nashua, New Hampshire; Zachary Lescarbeau and his sons Vincent and Andrew and daughter Lexi in Tucson, Arizona; and Cassandra Ascher, her husband Ben, sons Henry and Harvey and daughter Hadley in Bellevue, Nebraska. Norm also leaves behind three brothers and one sister and their families.
Norm loved riding his motorcycles over the years, first with his brothers and later with his wife Janine. He passed this love to his sons, and they joined him on his last ride as a passenger in a sidecar on a motorcycle ride on August 13, 2022. Also joining the ride was Norm's brother Al and daughter Cassie, followed by Janine, Amanda, Sawyer, and Cassie's family in their cars. The ride concluded at Platte River State Park with a catered picnic sponsored by the Dreamweaver Foundation.
Norm and Janine enjoyed renovating the many homes they owned and later found that they enjoyed European travel even more, sharing many experiences in Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Ireland and many more locales.
Norm will be remembered best as a loyal and supportive husband, patient and loving father and great friend.
