Norman Zantjer

It is with great sadness that the family of Norman Zantjer announces his passing on February 26, 2025 at age 90.

He was preceded in death by his mother Effie (John) Terpsma, father Gerrit (Ruth) Zantjer, and daughter Cindy Rose.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Carol; son Jeffrey (Phyllis) Zantjer; son-in-law Leroy Leonard; daughter Tamara (JD) Fink; step sons Craig (Maureen) O'Connor, Jeffrey (Cindy) O'Connor, and Brian (Linda) O'Connor; half-sister Thelma Westrate, and half-brother Gary Zantjer.

Norm was extremely proud of his family which includes 17 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

A Celebration of Life for Norm, a Korean War veteran, will be held at the Omaha National Cemetery in Springfield, NE on July 2, 2025 at 10:00am. Family and friends are welcome.
