Norva Jean Gomez. Age 77. Born in Omaha where she lived until she passed away at home surrounded by her family on May 25, 2020 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Jean was born on March 2, 1943. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Schrader and father, William Hardy; sisters, Diana Lynn Hardy, Geraldine Jeri Green, and Barbara Hancock; and brother, William Roger Hardy.
Jean leaves behind her husband of almost 60 years, Frank; daughters, Mary Jean MJ (Cliff) Kiger, Margie (Tim) Hurd, Kim (Mike Barton) Gomez. She was a loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren, Ryan Ratajski, Matthew (Jennifer) Ratajski, Melissa Bobzien, Jessica (Tim) Neneman, Andrew Hurd, and Amanda Parks. Jean adored her great grandkids, Aiden, Madison, Makenzie, Noah, Liam, Timmy, Cecilia, Ethan, Skylin, and she will be watching over the three new great grandbabies due later this year. Sisters Judy Armstrong, Pam Eads and Janice Wolfe; and numerous Godchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A private funeral mass is planned for June 19, 2020 at 11am at Sacred Heart Parish. The mass can be viewed on Facebook Live: Sacred Heart Parish Omaha.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
Any Flowers or Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Parish for the service date.
