Our dearly beloved Ollie Mae Loyd received her heavenly wings on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Ollie resided in Round Lake, Mississippi after her birth to her parents Louis Samuel Tucker Jr. and Laura Lee Burton at the historical Taborian Hospital in Mound Bayou, Mississippi. Ollie relocated to Omaha, Nebraska in the year of 1981. Ollie education consisted of OIC and Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska. Ollie married her loving husband Freddie Loyd on March 23, 1991. Ollie and Freddie did not share biological children, but raised four children that she naturally birthed prior to their union. Ollie was known for her dazzling personality and free spirit. Ollie was best known for her passion to singing the blues. Ollie often sang her all time favorite tune " Tonight is the Night" by famous vocalist Betty Wright. Ollie was loved and respected by her family, friend, and community in Omaha, Nebraska and back in her hometown Mississippi. Ollie was was known to be a very loving and caring woman. Her legacy will remain here with everyone she encountered throughout her wonderful life.

Ollie confessed her love for Christ at an early age.

She proceeded in death by her parents Louis Samuel Tucker JR and Laura Lee Burton-Tucker. Her Brother YJ Taylor. Grandparent: Louis S. Tucker SR and Ollie Tucker, Lee Burton and Adea Burton. Uncles: Sammie Lee Burton, Benny Burton, and David Lee Burton. Aunts: Victoria Burton, Damie Burton, and Rosie Lee Dunn.

She leaves to Cherish her husband Freddie Loyd. Sisters: Estella, Ethel, Laura, and Mary. Brothers: John, Roosevelt, Jessie, Robert, and James. Four children: Yolanda M. Tucker, Alfred Tucker, Mildred C. Tucker, and Cornez D. Tucker. Grandchildren: Tyliesha N. Tucker, Kevin D. Tucker, LeeAndre D. Tucker, Branoja N. Hill, Jae'lyn D. Jones, Yasmin I. Tucker, Jeremy Hayes Jr., Isha Tucker, Chynez Tucker, Cornez D. Tucker Jr., Caliyiah Tucker.Tyquavis Tucker, Tyteione Tucker, Versaeus Moss, Zyier Moss, Verdell Moss JR, Nae'Aunna Williams, and Jermaih Tucker.
Great-grandchildren: Kevin Tucker JR. Jamarie Hill, and Jiovonni Hill. Host of nieces and nephews, and Special cousin Mary Sullivan.

A visitation will be held at Fort Street Church of Christ, Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
