Patricia Clemts

January 8, 1943 — May 1, 2024

Patti (Patricia) J Clemts brought joy and happiness to everyone she encountered. Patti passed away on the evening of May 1st, 2024, surrounded by family.

Patti was born on January 8th, 1943, in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended St. Stanislaus for grade school and continued, for grade school, continuing her education at South High School. Patti was a loving mother to three beautiful children. She was passionate about traveling and seeking new adventures, whether a weekend getaway with her sisters or exploring new places. Patti was a natural-born artist and loved to paint on almost anything she could find. This passion led her to start the most successful face-painting business in Nebraska, where she created beautiful memories for over 40 years. She was also known for her faith, always offering prayers and support to those in need. Furthermore, Patti was famous for baking, from her iconic banana bread to her delicious Oreo pudding. She always delighted us with her culinary creations.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Margret and Girard Peers, her brothers Thomas and Timothy, her daughter Jamie, and her grandson Joshua. She leaves behind her wonderful husband, Billie Clemts. Her children survive her: Jim (son), Kim (daughter-in-law), and Debra (daughter). Stepchildren Bo, Cindy, and Lynn. Her siblings also survive her: Peggy, Linda, Morrie and Jerry. Patti was a proud grandmother to Jenna, Lilly, Tanner, and Nate and a great-grandmother to Bailey, Payton, Brennen, Jayden, Izzy, Da’vion, Harper, and Denver. Many more family members will also miss her dearly.

We will celebrate her life on July 28th, 2024, at noon at Lakeland Drive. The celebration will include food, beverages, an ice cream bar, pictures, and outdoor games. There will also be a memory table, so please bring your favorite memory of Patti, whether it’s a picture, letter, recipe, or anything special to you and her.
