Paul Griffin Petersen

Paul Griffin Petersen was born in Minneapolis, MN on March 19,1958 to Marilyn (Scott) Hedy and Samuel Petersen. He died in Omaha, NE on October 3, 2020.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Petersen; and grandparents, Madeline Scott and Marion Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Amber Wilson of Imogene, IA, Samantha Wilson of Essex IA and Brandon Petersen of Imogene, IA; granddaughter, Peyton Hankins; brothers, Michael Petersen, Billy Jo Chmelik and Bobby Fullerton; sisters, Judith Demore and Antonia Steward; and several nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed camping and fishing, traveling to MN to visit family, taking road trips to visit different areas, shooting guns with family and friends, spending time with his children and friends.

Paul graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, IA and joined the Navy after, where he spent 8 years as a boiler tech on the USS Dale and USS New Orleans. He was a proud Veteran and served his Country honorably.
