Peter Noriega

Peter Michael Noriega, Sr., passed away August 17th, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 79 years. He was born September 2, 1944, in Omaha.

Peter is preceded in death by his parents, Peter Mercy Noriega and Mary Alice Noriega; and sisters Rita Vanderplaats and Mary Marfisi.

He is survived by his sister Georgia Noriega; his children Pete Noriega, Jr., Mary Noriega, Andrea Noriega Hoig, and Tarek Noriega; grandchildren Peter & Maddie, Em, Jay & Maria, Oliver, Noel, and Bailey; great-grandchildren Elias and Faye; and nieces & nephews.

Eveyone loved Pete because he was a kind and gentle soul. He dedicated his career as a social worker to helping the least fortunate among us.

He loved camping in the mountains and watching movies and football with his family and friends. Most of all he loved his children. He will be sincerely missed.
