Pinkie Mae Foster was born July 16, 1932 to the late David Wiggins and Louella Veal Wiggins. She was the second oldest child.
Pinkie accepted Christ at an early age. She was very active in her church, where she played piano.
After graduating high school, Pinkie went to college in Mississippi where she received a degree in music.
Soon after college, Pinkie was united in Holy Matrimony on March 6, 1955 with James Foster.
James and Pinkie relocated to Waterloo, IA and in the late 1960's they moved to Omaha.
Pinkie soon attended cosmetology school and became a successful beauty salon owner. She called her shop Artiste Fashion and she was there for over 50 years.
Pinkie was very active in community and she loved music, traveling and fashion.
She had her own TV show called the Do's and Don'ts of Fashion.
Pinkie was preceded in death by her husband, James Foster; daughter, Patricia Matthews; parents, David and Louella Wiggins; grandson, Kamal Matthews; sister, Louise Madlock; brother, S.K. Wiggins; and niece, Horacestean Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, L.W. Wiggins of Los Angeles, CA; special ffamily friends, Rodney Gaines, Sharon Star, Veronica Jones Long, and Anthony Ladd; and a host of other extended family and friends.
