Renee Allison Hemmele

Renee Hemmele, 45, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in La Vista, NE. She was born Friday, April 2, 1976 in Peoria, Illinois.

Renee loved spending time with family, friends and riding her horse. Renee could always be counted on to be there in times of need. Renee had an acerbic wit and sarcastic sense of humor. If she considered you a friend, you knew it. And if not, you definitely knew it too. We have all gotten that sideways WTF glance from her. Renee was a strong women and single Mom raising her son Cole for many years until the cowboy of her dreams came into her life.

Steve and Renee's first date was a blind date and love took over after that eventually leading to marriage and a dream honeymoon on the island of St. Lucia. Together, they produced a beautiful daughter, Charlotte, who was born in 2016. An avid Chicago Bears fan, Renee enjoyed life, laughing and joking around and her annual birthday get together with friends at Nicola's in the Old Market. Renee was a loving daughter, wife, mother and friend who will greatly be missed.

Renee is survived by Steve Bishop - husband, Nancy Ali - mother, Cole Pearson - son, Charlotte Bishop - daughter.

She is preceded in death by Norman Ali - father and Melissa Hemmele - sister.



VISITATION Wednesday, March 9, from 5-7pm at Good Shepherd L Street Chapel. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Thursday, March 10, at 10:30am at the funeral home. Interment at Papillion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Renee's name to Muddy Paw's Second Chance Rescue in Omaha, NE.
