God saw you getting weary, And He did what He knew best

He put His arms around you, And He said, "Come Now and Rest."

He opened up his pearly gates, On that heartbreaking day

And with His arms around you, You gently slipped away.

It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone

A part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
