Robert "Bob" Vaughn

Robert "Bob" LeRoy Vaughn passed away on July 12, 2024, in Papillion, Nebraska, at the age of 82. Bob loved life! He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed talking to everyone. He worked at the Bellevue Menards until his passing. He looked forward to going to work every day and talked about the staff like they were family.

Bob had many interests. He was an avid car enthusiast, woodworker, and gardener. Bob never saw a Ford he didn't like and he could make grass grow anywhere! If he was not at work, you could find him in his garage building cornhole boards, "fuss, fuss"ing with his truck, or helping neighbors.

He was born November 14, 1941, in Providence, Rhode Island, but always dreamed of living in Florida. Bob and Donna moved to Florida in 1988 and lived there for almost 30 years before coming to Papillion. Papillion quickly became his home! Although we always told him he was sun-powered, and the winters were rough, he loved living in Nebraska.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Burdett "LeRoy" and Marion Vaughn.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna Vaughn; children Julie (Troy) Daigle and John (Gia) Vaughn; grandchildren Lori (Alec) Osburn, Tyler Daigle, Kaitlyn Daigle, Christopher (Mariah) Vaughn, and Robert (Olivia) Vaughn; great-grandchildren Abel, Liam, and Hazel.

No services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
