Robert Ross

Robert Ross was born August 29, 1941 to William and Velma Ross in Tunica, Mississippi. Robert was a free spirit, never to complain and always with a smile. He was a laborer for the Illinois Railroad and later for Wilson Packing House. Robert was preceded in death by both parents, William and Velma, brothers: William Jr., Cody, Emmett, and Joe Louis, sister: Sallie Brown, wife: Nola Mae Ross, daughter, Elaine Ross, step sons James Birge and Alvin Ray Birge.
He was married two times. First to Rosie Mae Warbington- (deceased). He had four children from this union: Loral Titsworth (Timothy), Linda Ross, Rosalina Ross, and Robert Jr. He married his second wife, Nola Mae Ross on December 23, 1972 and from that union, daughter Sandra Newman- (Floyd). Step- daughters: Nolla Lee Evans, Shirley Birge, Lisa Birge. Robert also, has two other daughters: Paula Lott, Juanita Ross, and step daughter: Teresa Morgan.
In addition, to the daughters and son listed above, he leaves to cherish his memory, grandsons, Kevin Bryan Lott, Davance Ross, Benoise Wade Jr., Donnie Ross, Najee Ross, Ray Ross and granddaughters: Tiffany Jones, Destiny Jones, Laura Warbington, Rosie Ross, Arlethia Sherrill, Louise Jones, Felicia Jones, Portia Jones, Arianne Ross and Omishia Phillips and a host of nieces and nephews.
