Roy Eugene Lemmon

Roy Eugene Lemmon, 49, of Portales, New Mexico, son of Charlotte Ann Lemmon of Aurora, Colorado, and Bruce James Lemmon of Portales, New Mexico, passed away from natural causes in his home on February 15, 2025.

Born on November 27, 1975, in Portales, New Mexico, Roy spent the majority of his life in Colorado. He was well-regarded for his diligent work with various lawn care companies throughout his adult life. An avid reader with an eclectic taste in music, Roy had a particular fondness for science fiction and fantasy. His sarcastic sense of humor and calm demeanor made him a reliable source of support for family and friends alike.

Roy is survived by his grandmother, Norma Smith of Roswell; his sister, Susan Lee Krill of Cibolo, Texas, and her spouse, Steven Krill; his nieces, Lauryn Ashleigh Lemmon of Aurora, Colorado, and Catherine Ann Ferchichi of San Antonio, Texas, and her spouse, Sofian Ferchichi; his nephew, Triston Dale Childs of Aurora, Colorado; as well as his stepdaughter, Mercedes Alfaro of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; stepson, Andrew Wakefield of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; and step-grandson, Jude Alfaro of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
