Sandra Lee Moulton answered her call to return to the universe January 16, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 81 years. She was born November 2, 1943 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania.
After a brief battle with leukemia, she started her journey peacefully and was surrounded by family. Sandy loved the human interaction experience and brought being sociable to the next level. Sandy's love for traveling with her family led to so many opportunities to spread her joy. Whether she was on a Caribbean island, the mountaintops of Italy, the old streets of Dublin or the rough rapids of Colorado, she always greeted everyone with a warm familiarity and made many new friends along the way. Sandy's love of her family was always present. Everyone was welcomed into it. Everyone felt like part of the family around Sandy and the imprint she left on those who knew her will last a lifetime and beyond.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Edna Widener; brothers Bob Widener, Dennis Widener, and Howard Widener; and sister Judy Bugosh.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rex Moulton; children Tina Moulton, Rex "Lou" Moulton, Jr., Scott (Lauren Orsi) Moulton, and Richard Moulton; grandchildren Elise, Cordell, Megan, Sumner, and Sawyer; great-grandchildren Amelia, Orville, and Wilbur; sister Gail Thomas; and nieces, nephews, and other family.
