Sarah Steiner

Sarah Ann Steiner, “Sally”, 49, of Omaha, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Sally was born June 14, 1974 to Donald and Margaret “Peggy” (O’Connor) Steiner in Omaha. After
graduating from Roncalli Catholic High School in 1992, Sally attended Metro Community College and
worked as a waitress. In 2000, she met her lifelong partner, Leon Cotten and together they
adventured all over the country, trucking over the road. Leon drove and Sally kept the books. Sally
had a heart of gold and loved her family and friends fiercely.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brothers, Pete (Allissa) of Wahoo, NE,
Frank (Jackie) of Omaha, sister, Amanda (Matt) Willimack of DeWitt, IA, many aunts, uncles, cousins,
nieces, and nephews. Sally is also deeply loved and will be missed by her partner of 23 years, Leon,
and his family.

A grave side service will held at 2:30 PM on September 23, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Imogene,
IA, where she will be at eternal rest with her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Sons & Daughters of Imogene for the Irish Rose Forest Maintenance.
