Sharon Renee "Shern/Bay" Mohanna (Powell)

Age 58, of Omaha, Nebraska, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on March 9, 2025, at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout her courageous seven-year battle with metastatic breast cancer, Sharon faced each day with remarkable strength and resilience, always greeting the world with a smile. Sharon never allowed her illness to define her. Sharon never allowed her illness to define her. She confronted each challenge with grace and an unshakable spirit, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing her. It is incredibly difficult to accept, but she ultimately lost her battle with cancer.

Born on May 20, 1966, in Omaha, Nebraska, Sharon was lovingly raised by her mother, Pauline Ingram (Martin). Growing up in a lively household with seven siblings, Sharon developed a deep love for family, a love that remained a cornerstone of her life. She was a devoted family member who cherished time spent with loved ones and created lasting memories filled with kindness, laughter, and unwavering support.

Sharon attended Omaha Public Schools and graduated from Northwest High School. She had a natural flair for fashion, design, and makeup, which led her to work at Estée Lauder and even enjoy a brief career in modeling. Later in life, Sharon embraced new opportunities and became a successful entrepreneur, owning her own cleaning and real estate business.

As the years passed, Sharon devoted herself to service, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide and later at United States Postal Service. She gave compassionate care to others, embodying kindness, selflessness, and a genuine desire to help those in need. Even in the face of illness, Sharon continued to live life fully, love deeply, and serve others with unwavering strength and grace.

Sharon’s greatest joy in life was her daughter, Hailee Camacho, whom she adored beyond measure. Their bond was one of unconditional love, deep understanding, and endless support—a beautiful connection that lasted a lifetime. From the very beginning, Hailee was the light of Sharon's life, her proudest accomplishment, and the source of her greatest joy. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, John Frazier Jr.; Joe Mohanna; her maternal siblings, James Powell and Gwendolyn Harris (Ricky); and her fraternal siblings, John Frazier IV and Paula Frazier.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Hailee Camacho; her ex-husband, Javier Camacho; her mother, Pauline Ingram (Charles); her maternal sister, Linda Collins; her maternal brothers, Wayne Powell (Tacy), Clyde Powell III, Christopher Powell I (Crystal), and Michael Powell (Margaret); her paternal brothers, Jammie Numan, Azeez Numan, and Lawrence Frazier; her fraternal sister, Shenice Numan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sharon’s memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
