Sonya Denise Williams

Sonya, AKA Nesie, was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 26, 1965 to Lorene Short and Eugene Williams.

Sonya is survived by her father, Eugene Williams, brothers Adolph, Demetrius, and Quintin. She was the only girl.

Sonya was blessed with her daughter, Shamica; sons, Antjuan, DeAndre and Loren; and a host of granddaughters, grandsons, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Sonya was loved by literally everyone. She was a well known person in the community and was considered a 2nd mother to the friends of her children. She loved to cook and play dominos, as well as listen to music. She loved her family and was a high spirited person, but could cry at the drop of a dime. She had a special relationship with each one of her children and was an excellent grandmother.

Her love and laughter will truly be missed!

Sonya was definitely a one of a kind individual!
