Steven Anton Davis

July 26, 1953 — December 27, 2022

Steven Anton Davis a lifelong resident of Omaha, Nebraska passed away December 27 in the year of our Lord 2022. Steve graduated from Benson High School in 1972 and had worked for over thirty years for Campbell Soups until a fall seriously damaged his ankle and made it impossible for him to return to work.

Steve was a quiet, loving and very caring man who regularly attended Mass at Holy Name Church. He was at his happiest watching his Nebraska Huskers in all sports and Creighton Basketball (unless they were playing Nebraska). Steve hoped he would see Coach Rhule bring the Huskers back to a powerhouse team once again.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Steve. He loved to spend a quiet evening with his wife Marian as she would do her crafting projects and he watched his favorite old TV westerns and Sherlock Holmes. Steve liked to cook and recently took an interest in wood burning. He LOVED dogs and always had at least one throughout his lifetime.

Steve is survived by his wife, Marian (Souza); brother, Mike and sister-in-law, Melissa; brother, Pat; aunts, Viola, and Lucille; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Nebraska Humane Society in Steve's memory.
