Tamarra West

Tamara Tamessa West was on on 11/23/1978 as the fourth child of Deborah J West-Jones & Hershel L West. 

She received Christ at a young age under the leadership of Apostle Alvin Mitchell, Judah Kingdom Center (formerly Love Deliverance Temple Church. 

Tamara graduated from Omaha Burke High School in 1997. 

Tamara was always the life of the party of family gatherings. Whenever she showed you knew that it was gonna be a blast because of her comical wittiness. Although Tamara endured many hardships she never allowed life to win. She was a true survivor and champion. 

She is preceded in death by her grandparents (Tommie & Christine Smith), grandmother (Virginia West), stepfather (Ralph C Jones), aunt (Janice Hattix), aunt (Marie Mitchell), cousins (Terrell Williams, Dion Mitchell, Antonio Reed and a host of many family members.

Tamara leaves to cherish her memory (5 children) daughters: Zabriana West-Rucker, De'Asia West-Fountain, De' Ariana West- Fountain, sons: Martavion Moss, Arion White all of Omaha, Nebraska, fiancée: Deeward Fountain, Mother: Deborah J West-Jones, Father: Hershel L (Christine) West, brothers: Eric Jones (Denver, Colorado), Janaire G (Tiffany) Smith, Sr, Mandell Richard, Ralph C Jones, Jr (Arizona), Adrial L(LaToya) West, Derrick Jones, Hershel (Whitney) Richard-West, Duprell Richard, Omar Jones, Tre'vonte Jones (all of Omaha, Ne), sisters: Ronda Jones, Tamesa Jones, Tasha Jones all of Denver, Co, Katina Richard, Tenetha Collins, Antoineya Richard, Contessa Jones, Sheena Robinson, Destinee Jones, Tyleshia Jones (all of Omaha, NE) 3 grandchildren: Layana West-Rucker, Ayanna West- Rucker,Ka Marita White, Special sisters: Sharon Porter, Gwendolyn King, Rochell Russell, Esther Tucker, Angie Peoples, (Villa sisters) Amy Banks's, Hydeia Travis, Enjoli Mitchell, Teresa Patman, Vallery Spencer, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

The service for Tamarra West will be held on Friday (9/20/2024) at Tabernacle of Faith Church of God In Christ, 2404 Fort St, Omaha, NE 68111. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Omaha, NE.
