Terrill Danner

December 13, 1973 — November 14, 2023

Terrill Quincy Danner was born December 13, 1973, in Omaha, Nebraska to James V. Danner and Glenda M. (Danner) Faulkner. Terrill was born weighing only 1lb, 14 oz, being the tiniest baby born at his weight to survive, his birth was highlighted in the local newspaper. He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska where he attended Minna Lusa Elementary School, Belvedere Magnet Middle School, as well as Omaha Northwest High School.

As a child, Terrill enjoyed playing basketball, and baseball, as well as watching football. At this early age, he developed a strong love for the New York Giants. Terrill will be remembered in many special ways; one is how he would occasionally break out into freestyle raps he created that are still remembered by those who loved him to this day. Terrill regularly attended church services at Miller Park Presbyterian Church. Here, Terrill forged a close bond with the couple Ed and Georgie Kerr. Terrill was the proud husband of LaWanda Danner, they have been married for over 23 years. This union brought many years of wedded bliss and beautiful children. Terrill loved spending time with family and friends and will be remembered for his infectious laugh and charismatic personality.

In his later years, Terrill loved hanging out in his decked-out mancave watching shows such as Steve Wilkos, Jerry Springer, and ID TV. At the same time, he would be cheering on his New York Giants and Ohio State Buckeyes. Along with priding himself on his mancave, he loved joyriding in his blue Chevy Tahoe truck. When you saw his blue truck and Giants decal, you knew Terrill was enjoying a ride.  Terrill had a heart of gold, and no one was a stranger. He was the life of the party and lit up any room he was in, leaving a lasting mark on anyone he encountered. He enjoyed going to escape rooms and family game nights. He was known to play spades for hours on end while being a jokester during it all. As we all know, Terrill had recently lost his mother Glenda M. Faulkner, this weighed heavily on his heart. As of late, his light wasn’t as bright as it has always been but still, he remained strong in faith, love, and family. Terrill will be truly missed and remembered for his Facebook “Good Morning” post, and countless memories.
