Tremaine Shobe Acoff

Tremaine Shobe Acoff, affectionately known as "Trey", was born on August 14, 1985, to Malinda Shobe and Earnest Acoff. He was the younger brother to one sister, Shannon.

Trey attended Omaha Northwest High School. He was everyone's "favorite nerd," and participated in both band and the Warren Buffet finance classes. Trey graduated in 2003, and went on to attend UNO.

Always a hard worker, Trey previously worked as an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance Group. In July of 2020 he started Acoff Lawn Care. His last place of employment was Conagra. Known as the life of the party, Trey was both silly and funny by nature, and his dream job was to be a stand-up comedian.

Trey is best described as kind, and would let anybody cut his hair! He was a loving and supportive life partner, father, and brother, best uncle, and favorite cousin.

He was baptized at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church on June 30, 1996 by Pastor Albert J. Wagstaff.

Trey is preceded in death by his father, Earnest Acoff. He is survived by his mother, Malinda Shobe, to whom he was the best son; step-father, Robert Thornton; life partner, Shanna Johnson; daughters, Ashyah Deal, Tariyah Acoff and Saniyah Acoff; sister, Shannon Shobe; nephew, Teghan Shobe; great-aunt, Shan Shobe; aunts, Alice Calhoun (Alfonzo) and Dorothy Acoff (Buffalo, NY), Mary Williams (Uniontown, AL), Vernell Satersfield (Columbia, SC); uncles, Johnny Shobe (Riverside, MO), Charles Acoff, AC Acoff (Rebecca), Joe Jones (all of Buffalo, NY) and Frank Acoff (Columbia, SC); cousins, Sonia Gunter, Shawn Kelley, Kenya Shobe (Riverside, MO); second cousins, Cameren Kelley, Trenten Gunter (Gina), and Tristen Kelley; and a host of other cousins, family members, and friends.
