Trenton Dabreon Washington

July 27, 1989 — April 15, 2023

Trenton Washington was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on July 27, 1989, and gifted to Tracie Washington and Dane Staten. Trenton was full of life -- lighting up every room with jokes, dancing, singing, debates, and his fashion sense. His competitive spirit guided him throughout his life, consistently challenging him academically and athletically.

After being terrorized by his cousins, Kmac, Tony, and Warren, Trenton said, "Enough! Sign me up for wrestling." And the rest was history. His journey began at the Edmonson Center in Omaha. He competed as a wrestler growing up with style and force. Trenton was a combination of finesse, power, and humor - an all-around wrestler. He was a two-time Nebraska State Champion at Omaha North High Magnet School and Boystown High School. Trenton was a four-year Academic All-American with a GPA of 4.6. After graduating from high school, he continued his wrestling career at the University of Northern Iowa, where he pursued a degree in Psychology. He was just four credits short from completing his Bachelor's Degree in the fall.

Trenton would eventually transition his ambitions towards music and entrepreneurship; all with the same style and spirit that made you believe he would be successful. There was nothing he could not do.

Trenton was also a beloved brother to his siblings, Rashad Washington, Demetrion Washington, Demetrius Washington, Dessie Washington, Remi Washington, Anthony Washington, Davion Staten, Dajah Staten, Dane Staten Jr., Tamyrah Staten, and Honor Staten.

His grandparents, Johnetta Braxton, James Lee Braxton, Barbara Washington, and Opal Washington, preceded him in death.

Most importantly, Trenton was first and foremost a father to all his children: Trenton Washington Jr., Landon Cruz Washington, Lliam Cortez Washington, and his bonus children, Jordyn Marrs and LaRiyah Mason. He leaves behind a host of aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces, bonus Dad "Meechie" Demetrius Vasser, mentor and coach Roger Parker, and Wilbert Smith; and an abundant amount of extended family and friends.
