Twila L. Noring

Twila Noring, age 92, passed away peacefully at CHI Health Bergan Mercy Medical Center on October 26, 2024. She was born January 2, 1932 to Adron & Delia (Drake) Moore in Downing, MO, but lived for the majority of her life in Des Moines, IA. Twila moved to Ralston, Nebraska in 2018.

Twila had a great many joys in life. Church was an important fixture in Twila's life as she regularly attended services, participated in groups and cooked at church events. She not only delighted in baking and cooking, one of her greatest pleasures was sharing her food with family and friends, often times making sure no one left empty handed. Twila also delighted in going for walks, and would even recount grade school field days as a child where she participated in the running events. Gardening though was what Twila may have taken the most pride in as she would be frequently found tending to her yard at her home in Des Moines, and would maintain several plants in her apartment in Ralston.

Twila was survived by son Alan Noring; son Craig Noring; daughter Debra (Noring) Sedrel; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Craig passed shortly after Twila. She was preceded in death by husband Harry Noring, daughter Patricia (Noring) Thurman, Adron Moore (Father), Delia Moore (Mother).

Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday, November 8, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
