On December 25, 1976, Vincent SuFu Peavy (Lathan) was born to Jennie and Calvin Lathan at Mercy Hospital in Davenport, IA. He started school in Rock Port, MO and graduated from North High School. He was baptized at Spiritual Awakening. Many of you know that Vincent was a very loving, strong minded, and was going to speak his mind type of guy. Vincent was definitely loved by all his family and friends. Vincent enjoyed relaxing, watching sports, socializing, and working hard to become the man he is today. He was the happiest when he was around all his family and friends, but especially his children and grandchildren who he loved dearly. He was very dedicated to being a great father and grandfather that we love and appreciate very much. He was raised up with some of his closest cousins Terrill, Matthew, Kenneth and James Price. He is survived by his children and grandchildren. Children-daughter-Alexus McCants (26)- TaVon Spivey, sons-TyQuan Swain (26) and Vince Trudell (16), and his grandchildren Cassian (4), and Ivurie Spivey (10 weeks). He leaves behind his father- Calvin Lathan and the two girls (his sisters)- Quinita Peavy (42), Coolishsa Walton (40) and sister Marlisha Lash. He's also leaving behind a long list of family, friends, nieces and nephews. Vincent Peavy is a soul to remember and we will cherish our memories of him for the rest of our days. He has now gained his wings and joined his mother Jennie Lathan. He will truly be missed and never forgotten.
