Wanda was born August 7, 1960 to George Parker (Mother) and Charles Griffin (Father) in Omaha, NE.
Wanda was a graduate from South High School and earned College credits from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in East St. Louis, Illinois. She worked as a contracted administrative assistant.
Wanda played AAU Basketball with the Omaha Hawkettes basketball team in Omaha, Nebraska. She enjoyed jazz and R & B music with Anita Baker as one of her favorite R & B artists. Wanda enjoyed watching NBA & NFL sports. The Pittsburg Steelers was her favorite team as the head coach, Mike Tomlin, reminded her of our late Uncle Eddie Jones.
Wanda was interested in entrepreneurship and had a natural braid shop called the "Jungle Baby Braid Shop". Wanda's underlining health conditions took over her body, although her state of mind was a strong will to live and a believer in Christ.
Wanda is preceded in death by a twin sister at birth, Charles Griffin (father), and siblings Sylvia Johnson (CA), Charles Griffin Jr. (WI) and Greg Griffin (NE).
She leaves to cherish her memory George Parker (mother), Sammy Taylor (fiancé), siblings Tyrone/Betty Parker (NE), Florenda Parker (CA), Charlene Early (AZ), Vanetta Early (NE), Denise Early (NE) Katie Griffin Cowan (NE), Darryl Griffin (NE), Cedric Cox (ILL), Keith Ivory (ILL), Emerson, and Charlotte (NE). Also, a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and many special friends. Wanda cherished her nieces and nephews as she did not have any children of her own.
