Wilhelmena Smith

     In loving memory of Wilhelmena Elaine Smith, 51, of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away peacefully on August 5, 2023. Mena, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was born October 29, 1971, to Hattie and William Brown. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

          Mena was known for her contagious laughter and ability to brighten every room she entered. Although health concerns prevented Mena from pursuing formal employment, her true vocation was spending time with her granddaughter A’miyrah, and as caregiver to her mother Hattie. Her sense of humor brought joy to those around her, and she will be sincerely missed.

          Mena is preceded in death by her father, William Brown, and her daughter, Enchantrise Smith. She is survived by her Son; William Smith, Mother; Hattie Brown, Grand-daughter; A’miyrah Smith, Brothers; William Smith and Amos Jones.  Mena also leaves several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends who will forever cherish her memory.

          Although we grieve her loss, the family finds comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
