William Davis

May 9, 1955 — January 28, 2025

Omaha

William Payton Davis was born in Omaha, NE, to Ollie James and Marguerite Davis on May 9, 1955. Most family and close friends called him Willie or Willie D. He was the fifth child of ten. He attended Tech High School, where he enjoyed working with his hands and fixing cars. He attended a secondary school in Kansas City to advance his knowledge in bodywork. Later, he worked with his father at various auto maintenance jobs. He traveled to Panama City, where he worked for the city. He was always swamped helping friends when they needed their cars fixed.

Willie started learning the bible at an early age with the help of his mother and later with his friend, Bobby. He enjoyed learning the many wonderful Bible truths that led him to be baptized around 17 years of age. He loved sharing these beliefs with others. While in Panama City, he started learning the Arabic language and sharing.
