Bek was brought to Omaha when he was 9 months old from his birthplace in Juan Aldama, Zacatecas, Mexico. He was raised by a single mother of three who taught him the value of always working hard for his family. Bek worked since the age of 12 and at times held up to three jobs with his family as his priority and motivation. Bek graduated from Central High School in 2008 and continued college education and various career paths. He worked in banking, management, shipping, and even drove the elderly for Beautiful Life. His selfless behavior did not end there. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and was involved in community outreach through Herbalife. Bek loved adventure, making others smile, and having a great time wherever he went. He would not rest until all were enjoying themselves and comfortable. He made sure all were seen and stood up for those that needed it. At the early age of 23, Beks met Lorena and formed a beautiful family raising and educating Byron like his son, guiding him toward a path filled with satisfaction and happiness for 7 years. Bek was a loving, gentle, considerate individual who always loved as strong as his capacity, which was superhuman. He continued to make a difference even in the afterlife through organ donation. He continually sacrificed himself for others and his impact on this world will be felt for an eternity. Beks is survived by his mother, Claudia Sosa; and brothers Alan Gomez and Jonathan Sosa.
